Mingei International Museum

We have collaborated with the Mingei for over six years on a variety of evaluation projects, including a needs assessment for their education programming. Our shared goals were to identify best practices in on-site museum education and make recommendations for program design and implementation to support Mingei’s long-range planning.  

To make that happen, we prepared a literature review of museum education best practices; conducted interviews and site visits with other museum professionals; and surveyed educators, members, and other community stakeholders to better understand existing needs.
